Course Description
Health & Human services requires under the HIPAA Act that covered entities protect patient health information. A requirement of HIPAA is to inform workplace members of the established privacy and security measures in effect. Even though Covered Entities must train on their specific privacy and security policies and procedures, this course can assist with the basic training for workforce members. The Covered Entity should supplement this course with their specific privacy and security policies and procedures.

Requirements for Course Completion
This video will be available through your NADL Learner Community for 30 days from your purchase date and will expire after that time. There will be a one time use quiz that must be completed in order to receive CDT/RG credits. These credits will be automatically submitted to NBC.
Accreditation
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive 0.5 hours of documented Regulatory Standards through the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC). Credit will automatically be submitted to NBC on your behalf.
