e.max Clinical Preparation and Provisionalization
- Preparation for e.max veneers
- Prep through mock up technique
- Provisionalization with diagnostic matrix
This video covers techniques used by Dr. Frankie Shull in the preparation of 6 anterior e.max veneers utilizing the diagnostic wax-up to create a clinical mock and demonstrating a prep through the mock up technique to insure even thickness of ceramic material. Provisional restorations are created with a matrix from the diagnostic wax-up, then evaluated prior to taking the final impressions. This video demonstrates conservative yet predictable preparation design and provisionalization to close spaces and create a situation where the dental laboratory has everything it needs to create a beautiful final result.
