Join our panel discussion to hear answers to some of the most common questions they have been fielding during the last six weeks related to finances, marketing, operations, “post-COVID” projections and much more. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions during the panel as well.

Barbara Warner

Barbara Warner is a highly accomplished ceramist-artisan and is nationally recognized as a leader in functional-esthetic dentistry. With over 25 years experience in multiple disciplines of comprehensive dentistry, she has achieved recognition as an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she was the 2007 and 2009 Annual Smile Gallery “People’s Choice Award” recipient. Additionally she is an active member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories, where she serves as chairperson of the Dental Laboratory Foundation. Barbara was the only technician recognized among the 2011 recipients of Dental Products Report “Top 25 Women of Dentistry.”
As President of Knight Dental Group, Barbara is responsible for the daily operations and client service aspects of each uniquely specialized division. As co-developer of KDG’s nationally acclaimed Comprehensive Aesthetic Center, her passion and focus remains in the continued implementation and direction of high-profile functional-esthetic dentistry and advanced laboratory-dentist communications. She is one of fewer than 50 technicians in the world to have achieved Accreditation from the AACD and is continuously recognized for her annual contributions to the AACD “Give-Back-a-Smile” program. Barbara is the 2020 NADL President.

Larry Weiss, CPA is President and Founder of Weiss Advisors LLC, a St. Louis company committed to helping Dental Laboratory owners grow their wealth and income by aligning business, personal, and financial goals. Prior to this Larry was part of Keller / Ndx for over 30 years. His experiences included controller, CFO, Business Unit Leader of the Appliance Group (Medical Devices), President of Keller Group with responsibility for all aspects of the multi-location laboratory, (including manufacturing, operations, sales and marketing), Regional Director of Operations and Director of Business Development National Account Sales and Laboratory M&A. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Larry joined Price Waterhouse Coopers on the Audit Team performing and managing audits of a variety of businesses and passed the CPA exam.

Mike Cash, CDT learned the dental industry from the ground up, holding various technical roles in plaster, crown and bridge, and ceramic departments, then learning effective customer service, sales, marketing, and management techniques and how they are all interconnected. More than half of Cash’s career was spent working for Glidewell Laboratories, managing hundreds of employees and delivering best-in-class sales, marketing and customer experience to thousands of customers worldwide. Currently he is an Independent Consultant helping companies increase their growth through effective customer service efforts, results-driven sales and marketing strategies, as well as positive employee engagement efforts.
Rudy Ramirez

Rudy Ramirez spent 32 years as the General Manager of Fixed Prosthodontics at Glidewell Laboratories in Newport Beach, California before retiring in 2015. He managed 450 employees that generated over $65m in annual sales. Rudy oversaw the restorative production team for the BruxZir Solid Zirconia clinical study with Dr’s Gordon and Rella Christensen of Clinicians Report. Rudy has taught courses on laboratory management and advanced BruxZir techniques, and continues giving back to the industry helping dental laboratories streamline their production and grow their business.
